Our lake house is unique - we have a fully finished garage that is heated/cooled with tons of amenities: Arcade, pool table, 75" 4K TV, karaoke, and more! Enjoy our lakeside hot tub with stunning views of the lake and stars at night. The hot tub is open 365 days per year - yes even in the winter! We also have a covered deck in the backyard that's perfect for shade and shelter from a passing rain shower. Sleeping up to 12, our place is versatile with the following sleeping arrangements: 2 king beds (1 upstairs, 1 downstairs) 2 twin beds 2 bunk beds (4 twin beds total) The couch in the lower level converts to a sleeper sofa as well. All mattresses are brand new and have varying firmness so that you can find your perfect match! Sunset Lake is a spring-fed freshwater lake perfect for swimming and fishing. There are little to no weeds in the water and the beach is composed of pristine "sugar sand." We provide two kayaks, life jackets, various beach toys, including sand toys for the little ones, and much more! Don't forget about our premium massage chair with optional heat and a calming view of the lake. All the 4K TVs in the house are brand new with soundbars and are located in every room so your group will never fight over the remote! Finally, the lakeside fire pit is the perfect place to make memories and unwind after an active day. *Booking guest must be age 25 or older. This is required by our HOA local rules.

To adhere to our HOA's rules, this property requires a guest with the minimum age of 25 to book. We have a strict no-smoking policy for the comfort and safety of all our guests. Smoking of any kind, including the use of e-cigarettes and vaping devices, is not permitted inside the property or on the premises. Smoking is monitored by electronic devices and shall not be tampered with. Failure to comply will result in a charge of $500 and may lead to immediate termination of the reservation without a refund. Thank you for respecting our policy and helping us maintain a clean and healthy environment for everyone. Rental Agreement A signed standard rental agreement is required prior to check-in. Liability Use massage chair at own risk. No lifeguard on duty - swim/play in the water at your own risk. Life jackets are provided and must be worn. Danger - THIN ICE possible in winter months. Guests only have access to the lake from the backyard of the home, there is no launch point, or motorized watercraft allowed on the lake. Boat Owners Note: There are a few public boat launch areas located near the property: Castle Rock County Park (closest), Castle Rock Dam Boat Launch, Yellow River Boat Access, Buckhorn Launch-Castle Rock Lake, and Launch D on Castle Rock Lake. Fireworks are strictly prohibited. Tenants found violating this policy will be charged $250. Large parties including guests not on the reservation are strictly prohibited. Tenants found violating this policy will be charged $500. There are security cameras that face the front of the property. Those are the only cameras

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this cabin. It was spacious yet cozy, making it an ideal choice for a family getaway. We were particularly impressed by the hospitality of Luke and Abby. They promptly responded to our questions and concerns.

We had a couples weekend. The house was spacious. I always over pack but most of the kitchen dishes , spices were already available. The house was very clean and even in the cold enjoyed a fire in the back yard in the snow. The game room garage , was were spent most of time. Specially watching Pack vs Bears. I contacted the host a few times with questions and they almost immediately responded back. We had fun , wish it would have been in summer so much more to do!! Thank you!

We had a small group celebrating a birthday for the weekend and we enjoyed our stay. The cottage was beautiful and I am sure it would be even better in the summer because it is on the water and around so many fun bars and lakes. We loved the garage turned game room as another option for entertainment. Communication was excellent from the beginning and there was a lot of attention to small details you don't often experience in a rental that made our stay even more special. We did hit one snag that impacted our stay but the attention and compensation for that was more than fair in my opinion. I would definitely recommend the rental and the hosts!

Hesitant to write this because I don't want it to be booked up next time we want to come..... Absolutely beautiful home in every respect - lot is brand new and the home was exactly what we needed for a little getaway from the hustle and bustle of daily life in Chicago. Private Beach and Lake access, spa like jacuzzi, and firepit that Luke includes all of the supplies for to have a good time. House included everything we could possibly need to cook, clean, relax, play games, etc. ONLY thing we weren't prepared for was the mosquitos which were not bad during the day time, but loved to swarm and feast in the evening. Once again though, Luke was prepared and had multiple citronella candles in every space you might want to relax by in the evening. 10/10 we hope to be back soon!

We loved our stay here! We made a last minute to get away for our anniversary and Luke was so accommodating. The house is set away from others on the lake (we know there will be more in the future, but for now it's the most peaceful one all alone!). Close enough to the Dells if you wish to head for other activities, but plenty of things to keep busy with at the house. We loved sitting by the fire with our pizza and drinks and relaxing in the outdoor hot tub.
